It depends on where you want to go. Some places, it's smart to plan more than a year in advance. Others have more flexibility. However, I limit the number of clients I work with at any given time so that I can provide concierge-level service, so it’s ideal to start planning several months in advance, especially for peak travel seasons or complex itineraries.
